@ruben_int @carl Great news. Would really be nice if someone threw some scraps at us sometime too if they want us to continue to exist. It’s amazing to me that we’ve been funding, out of our own pockets (first by selling a couple of homes and now by Laura contracting with a tech company in the US), research and development on technology for the common good.

I’m confused. We specifically do not accept funding by Big Tech so as not to legitimise them or create conflicts of interest.
“The Alternative, sponsored by Google” is problematic for what I would believe are very obvious reasons, no?
